How to Apply
Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis by our Board of Directors. For United States tax law we can grant to Canadian charities for a specific project and not to a general operating fund. For example we granted Evenstart money for their Nathan's Clubhouse project and not to their general operating fund.
1. The organization must be a charitable organization as defined by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA number, organization in good standing from compliance and reporting standpoint).
2. Preference is given to smaller organizations that do not have a large public profile, and where a very high percentage of revenue goes directly into operations.
3. The organization must benefit at least one of our 3 pillars: (1) Immediate needs, (2) Long term needs & (3) Recreation.
